 MAPP 2.0 Overview: This overview of Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships provides a dive into the newly released MAPP 2.0 sharing the core changes from the previous iteration and alignment with the IPLAN requirements.

The session focuses on practices, tools, and methods to purposefully center equity into the CHA/CHIP process for improved outcomes.

  Facilitating Community Engagement to Ownership: The purpose of this training is to understand how local health departments can better engage with their communities to complete their IPLANs by moving along the Spectrum of Community Engagement



  Turning Data into Information: The purpose of this training is to describe the importance of data and data storytelling to inform priority-setting, goals, objectives, and strategies as well as sharing this information with the public and your communities.



  TA Session Data Stewards Q&A-Syndromic and IVDRS/SUDORS needs: The purpose of this TA session is to allow for data presentations from Syndromic Surveillance and IVDRS/SUDORS and allow LHDs to ask questions about these data systems.



  BRFSS Healthy Illinois Survey Data Group TA Session: The purpose of this training is to build participants’ capacity to access and utilize Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) and Healthy Illinois Survey data to inform community health assessment and planning. Participants will gain practical knowledge on navigating data systems, identifying appropriate contacts for data related inquiries, and effectively communicating with data stewards to troubleshoot and refine data collection tools.



  Building Community Power to Advance Policy and Systems Change: The purpose of this training is to gain a better understanding of policy, systems, and environmental change in the development of the community health improvement plan and how to move beyond community engagement to build power within their communities for assessment and improvement planning.



  Vital Statistics and Vital Records and Accessing IQuery TA needs: The purpose of this training is to ensure participants are proficient in accessing and utilizing Vital Statistics and Vital Records data for community health assessment and improvement planning.



  Managing community action plan cycle: Engage community and public health system partners to develop and implement the community action plan.



  Accessing IDPH Data TA: The purpose of this training is to ensure participants are proficient in accessing and utilizing IL Hospital Report Card and Community Map, HIL Data Explorer Tool data and the data suppression policy for community health assessment and improvement planning.
